Shipping/Receiving Clerk - Compensation: 10.00/hr in Rochester Hills, Michigan

Job Summary:
Assembling, preparation, and shipping of material; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming material; and arranging for the transportation of products.
? Monday-Friday
? $10.00/hour
? 8am-5pm
? 20 Hours per week
Duties and Responsibilities also include:
? Receiving and breakdown of chemical tanker trucks and dry material shipments.
? Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials.
? Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
? Confer and correspond with establishment shipping representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.
? Maintain inventory of liquid and dry chemicals and report to customer service
? Maintain company equipment and distribute to field personnel as needed.
? Organize and maintain plant warehouse.
? Maintain product sample inventory.
REQUIRED Application Qualifications:
? Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent
Must have prior shipping and receiving experience
? Must be Forklift Operator Certified
? Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneel and lift cumbersome and/or heavy objects
Desired Application Qualifications:
? Prior experience with shipping and receiving chemicals preferred
